Transform a Lifetime of Experience
into a Recognised Qualification

What is APEL.Q?

Introduction to APEL.Q

APEL.Q (Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning for Qualification Award) is the highest form of recognition under the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA). It enables highly experienced professionals to transform extensive work experience, skills, and achievements into a formal academic qualification. Instead of starting a programme from the beginning, your proven expertise can be assessed and awarded as a diploma, degree, master’s, or even doctorate.

Benefits of APEL.Q

Formal Recognition

Convert decades of professional experience into a recognised academic qualification.

Career Advancement

Gain credentials that strengthen professional standing and open pathways to senior roles.

Inclusive Pathway

Designed for practitioners who may not have pursued higher education earlier but have extensive knowledge in their field.

Flexible & Practical

Assessments are based on portfolios, interviews, and professional contributions rather than exams alone.

Challenge Test
